Fast Track Rules

Objective

The objective of the game is to move all four game pieces around the board to the line of four holes on the board that match the game piece's color. These spots are called "home".

The Moves

To Play

Fast Track is a game for two to four players. One player must be human, the other players can be either human or AI. Possible combinations are:

To initiate a game, select the number of players and a color for each player. Then select 'Start Game'. Your cards will be shuffled and a player will be chosen to begin the game automatically.

All players will use the deck at the bottom of the board to draw cards. Your last card drawn will be displayed next to your color/corner. To end your turn, select 'End Turn'. You can undo a move during your turn by selecting 'Undo' before you commit the turn by selecting 'End Turn'.

The first four rounds is a search for an out card. If no out cards are drawn in the first three rounds, you can move a piece out on the fourth card. You will find this "four and out" rule showing up during the game. After all 54 cards have been drawn, select 'Shuffle Cards' and click again to draw a card.

The Rules

A player cannot pass one of his/her own pieces. If the move ends on a space that's occupied by another's piece, that piece is bumped back to its start. A player cannot bump his/her own piece.

Ending a move in any of the four inner corners puts that piece on the fast track. The piece on the fast track must be moved on the next turn to stay on the fast track. If the player chooses to move a different piece, the fast track status is lost. The fast track is used by moving the piece to the next inner corner or moving the piece into the center hole for the super fast track. A player may choose to exit the fast track at any time. Drawing a four results in the loss of the fast track.

The super fast track center hole must be exited via a face card. The piece may be moved to any of the four fast track holes the player chooses.
